Delaware previously allowed early voting, but a state court struck it down as unconstitutional in a Feb. 23 ruling. Marya Ursin finally got the chance to vote early in Connecticut and at a time that suited her busy schedule. WASHINGTON (AP) — Self-help author and spiritual guru Marianne Williamson on Wednesday announced the end of her long-shot Democratic challenge to President Joe Biden. She won just 2% of the vote in South Carolina and about 3% in Nevada. “I hope future candidates will take what works for them, drinking from the well of information we prepared,” Williamson wrote in announcing the end of her bid. She tweaked Biden, an avid Amtrak fan, by announcing her campaign at Washington’s Union Station. The bifurcated Republican presidential nomination contest that is unfolding this week in Nevada — a nonbinding primary on Tuesday and a caucus on Thursday — was orchestrated by Republican leaders to assure another delegate victory for Donald J. Trump in his march to the nomination. Nikki Haley, the former United Nations ambassador, is not even spending time or money in Nevada, focusing her attention on the primary later this month in South Carolina, her home state.
